Joes Crab Shack Steam Pots

Joe'sCrab Shack announced this week a line of menu items for the summer at all 113 locations nationwide.

The line focuses around new "Coastal Steampots", offering buckets of crab, shrimp and lobster representing all the coastal regions and their celebrated flavors.

Coastal Steampots include:



Sunset Fire-grilled Steampot

  • Dungeness and Snow crab
  • shrimp
  • sausage
  • corn and potatoes
  • beachside bar-b-que style.

These are so easy to make. Decide which types of seafood you want to use. Get some new red potatoes and corn on the cob. I like to cut fresh ears of corn in half or you can use the little frozen ears. Pick a link sausage that you like. Any type works well except maple breakfast links.

Fill your pot with water and add your spices. Bring it to a boil and add your meat, potatoes, and corn. Cook until everything is done. Turn the heat off the stove. Drop in your seafood and cover the pot with a lid. Let the seafood sit for about 30 minutes to cook in the hot liquid and absorb the flavored juices.

Drain and serve.

  • potatoes and corn

Old Bay Steampot

  • 2 Alaskan Snow crab,
  • 1 lb clams, corn
  • potatoes and sausage
  • all the way with Old Bay seasoning

  • 1 lb clams
  • 12 shrimp
  • sausage
  • corn and potatoes
